We had our second trimester ultrasound, and it's a boy! A fact made quite clear in one of the ultrashound shots we got to take home. today was also the amnio test, which involved a long needle and was a little scary. It went really well and all is well with mother and child (a phrase that still isn't quite naturally rolling off my tongue).

He was really active, stretching, rolling over, swimming laps practically. I guess it was a preconceived notion but the activity level was really something. I am continually amazed that something so crazy as a new human being taking form just happens. I can't really wrap my head around it. A person is starting to be where once there was none and I am amazed.
