Turkey Burgers

DescriptionBack when I was working in New York, a bunch of us used to venture down to the Galaxy Dinner across from Irving Plaza. They had the best Turkey Burgers. Some how unlike every other turkey burger in the world they were not dry. They were also distinctively asian tasting though it was hard to pinpoint the ingredients. I tried a few times to replicate the flavors, but failed until I came a cross a recipe for pot stickers in a Williams Sonoma stir fry cookbook. I subbed out the pork and shrimp for turkey and the recipe below was born. Ingredients
InstructionsMix all the ingredients together by hand in a bowl. Form burger sized patties. Making a hollow in the center of the patty will help them stay disk shaped as they cook and not turn into ball shapes. Grill until cooked through on each side. NotesPart of legend of the Turkey Burgers is "Turkey Burger Sauce." Like all great "special sauces" it is really pretty simple: equal parts: Lea and Perrin's Steak Sauce, Mayonnaise, and Beaver brand Jalapeno Mustard. There is sadly no known substitute for the Beaver Mustard, you can use another type, but it will not be the same.
